Simple, fresh family meals for real life
Practical recipes, helpful cooking notes, and ideas for leftovers.
Why The Weeknight Table exists
Dinner on a Tuesday is not a performance. It is one pan, one hungry family, and about forty minutes before baseball and theater practice for the kids at the same time.
Every recipe here is written for the kitchen you actually cook in, with the ingredients your shop actually stocks. Nothing is plated with tweezers. If a dish needs a rest while you find socks, set the table, or answer a homework question, the recipe says so — and it still tastes right when you come back to it.
These recipes are from heart and my kitchen to share with your family and friends.
We are constantly on the go, so nearly every recipe ends with an idea for the leftovers. Fewer things wilt in the drawer. Fewer nights start from zero.

Real family cooking, photographed the way it happens: mid-prep, slightly untidy, and about to be eaten.

Every recipe here has been cooked on an ordinary weeknight, tasted by an honest audience, and written down with notes on swaps, storage, and what to do with what’s left in the pan.
